My name is Teresa Pan and I am an international graduate student at Kent State University majoring public relations. I grew up in a small city of Shaanxi, China, and got my B.A. degree in Communication University of China one year ago.
I think my passion about TV variety shows started at age 6 or so, on the children’s chair with probably some goodnight milk. Although I couldn’t fully understand what were they talking about on that screen, those times were happy to me. When I was in high school, during the burdensome preparation for the college entrance exam, my only relaxation time every week was the two hours’ TV variety show “Happy Camp.” When I got more time in college, I started to watch more variety shows in different formats and content, even some shows imported from other countries like the U.S. and Korean.
The idea of promoting TV variety show as my future career just occurred me recently, and I believe that can not be happier if I can do what I really like as my daily job.
